Big Bass Blast
Big Bass Blast is one of those games that looks simple in a screenshot and then quietly steals an afternoon. You tap to cast, watch the water, and reel in when a fish bites. The trick is reading the little tension meter so your line doesn't snap. It sounds basic, but landing a big catch after a long fight feels genuinely satisfying.
The controls are all one-thumb friendly, which is why I kept coming back to it during short breaks. Each spot on the map has different fish, and you slowly unlock better rods and lures that change how the reeling behaves. There's a gentle progression loop here — nothing that pressures you, just steady little rewards for showing up.
What I liked most was the pacing. It never nags you to hurry, the water animation is calming, and the sound design does a lot of heavy lifting. If you want something low-stress to poke at while a kettle boils, this fits.
